Polimoda – indipendent fashion academy based in Florence, Italy – offers a unique balance of Italian design know-how and international experience and vision. The school is known worldwide for its teaching approach able to blend design and business.
Here at Moze we pursue the same approach in creating digital products. This is why it has been a great honor for us to become the Polimoda’s digital parter.
Information Architecture & User Experience
Between 2016 and 2017 we carried out several workshops with the school’s management in order to co-design the new online presence of the brand. It was a remarkable challenge to define the new Information Architecture, able to present everything you need to know about the courses. Most of Polimoda students come from all over the world and visit Florence only when courses start. For this reason, it was a priority to simplify the UX in order to facilitate the online enrollment request.
User Interface & Web Development
We tailored an elegant and modern UI based on the school’s visual identity guidelines, marked by black and white as well as strong impact typography.
We chose WordPress as the most flexible open source platform for this project. It gave us total freedom in the front-end development and the possibility to provide the school staff with extremely easy-to-use back office tools.
